The Grooten is not so much a person, but rather a name given to the chaotic energy of pure evil. It creeps into the hearts of people and whispers for them to do bad things. As such, a Grooten can look like anyone, be anyone. When fighting, the Grooten prefers to take its demon form, but it’s ability to do that may be hampered by how long it has been in possession of a human — the longer the time, the easier it is to transform the human’s life energy into it’s own energy.

Poor Kaden. He’s injured and knows what needs to be done. What he doesn’t know is that a Grooten is watching him from across the street. Time does indeed grow short.

Thank you for everyone who came to Fandemonium. It was great to see some old friends and meet some new. Now, onto Weblinks. The biggest change I made on this page, aside from the toning work, was to add the extra thoughts about not letting Caitlyn escape. In the original, I thought he might just… Continue reading Weblinks — Bite 1, page 11

The theory sounded so simple: upload a page to my cloud storage, work on the page while I was at my father’s house for the weekend, then set the page up from there. Yeah, right! His Internet should be better than mine. After spending half an hour trying to get the page to download, I… Continue reading Weblinks – Bite 1, Page 13

This is one of those pages where I think it’s easier to write a book rather than illustrate. (grin) Although, I did get to use the stamp tool in Clip Studio 5 in redoing this page. I haven’t been a big stamp person in the past because earlier versions of Manga Studio made it easier… Continue reading Weblinks – Bite 1, Page 14

Home now and posting my page! Tomorrow, I start getting ready for the 1st Friday Art Walk in Pocatello where I’ll be at Enchantments on… Continue reading Weblinks – Bite 1, page 15

You never forget your first time… breaking a panel or mentioning yourself in the artwork. What did you think I meant? So I had forgotten that I mentioned myself in the comic, making fun of myself actually. That’s okay. I can take it. After all, it was just me proving to myself that my point… Continue reading Weblinks – Bite 1, Page 16

One of those moments when Caitlyn looks very good! It surprised me too, as well as gave me hope that someday I might actually know what I’m doing. I’m sure I used a reference picture for it, but I don’t remember. I’ve slept since then! LOL. Yeah, I have hope.

Getting close to the end of Weblinks, Bite 1. The head-to-head attack. If you’re going to be a Pac-Con Spokane, stop by my booth and say hi. I’ll be doing a couple panels while I’m there. Exciting, yes! ┬áCan’t wait. A little over a week to go.
